Homework for the week of August 28

Monday: Survey three people about math using questions from the Gazette article. Then write a three paragraph essay describing each person’s answers and comments. Also, review the syllabus with your parents and sign it. Get all the materials on the materials list.

Tuesday: Good job on the math survey! We found the same results when we did the survey as the poll in the newspaper. Tonight, start the review packet. You need to finish the packet by Friday.

Wednesday: Keep working on your review packet. We will review how to set up and solve equations tomorrow. To show me that you have found this site and read the homework for this week, complete this sentence and then post your response:

“So far, I think math is…”

Thursday: Your review packet is due tomorrow. Please finish it and check it over carefully because it does count as a grade. It also allows me to see where your math strengths and weaknesses are before we delve into the book.

Friday: No homework over the Labor Day weekend. Enjoy!
