You got your Chapter 9 test back today. If you did not get a perfect score (and 10 of you did!), you owe me test corrections. Also, we made a Chapter 10 foldable to organize your clue cards for the new chapter. Pre-read the examples and concepts presented on pp. 492-495. Make a 10-1 clue card to put in your foldable. Know the concepts well enough that you could pass a short FLEX quiz on the concepts on Tuesday. (Monday we have some special school training for periods 1-5, so I won’t see you again until Tuesday.)
On Wednesday, January 17, you will have a Chapter 9 test. This test will cover all of the chapter, even the sections that we completed before winter break. You will get a review guide on Thursday to start reviewing over your long weekend. We will spend Tuesday 1/16 reviewing as well.
Monday:
P. 470 Practice Quiz 2. Do all 5 problems. This is your quiz for section 9-6, so work carefully!

Thursday:
You got a study guide for Chapter 9 today in class. Do as many problems as you need to assure yourself that you know them. Work to memorize the Pythagorean Theorem, the Distance Formula, and the Midpoint Formula. Be ready for a review class next Tuesday.
And don’t forget: SohCahToa!!!
